«Bull markets are born on pessimism,
grown on skepticism, mature on optimism,
and die on euphoria.»

(Michael B. Steele)

The term “bull market” refers to a positive, growing market. In the trading jargon, the adjective “bullish” indicates that market is in uptrend. There’s a common say which states that: “the bull defeated the bear" to indicate that the market is showing a well defined and strong tendency to go up.
